On Site Destination Promotion: PCVB provides colorful brochures for convention delegates and other visitors to the city. Compliments of the PCVB, you will be provided with reasonable quantities of our Official Visitors Guide, which lists historic sites, museums, sports facilities, shopping, entertainment, and restaurants and features a full color map.

Customized Electronic Convention Promotion: PCVB works with citywide conventions and events to develop customized e-mails and Web sites to promote attendance to upcoming meetings in Philadelphia.

Public Relations Support: Award-winning Marketing and Communications Department at the PCVB serves as an extension of your staff by helping with local publicity. This department will work with you, free of charge, to help you enhance public education about your group; increase attendance at events/meetings/lectures; and create local, regional or national awareness. Public relations services include media counseling, assistance with distributing news releases/media alerts, assistance with press conferences, assistance with on-site pressroom support, crises, local media lists, calendar listings for public events, and free photos and line art. Hotel Welcome: all hotel front line personnel and convention center staff will wear customized welcome buttons greeting your attendees.

Show Us Your Badge: attendees show convention credential/badge at participating businesses and will receive discounts at attractions, restaurants, retail and entertainment venues.

Promotional Banners: City of Philadelphia and Center City District have developed exciting opportunity to display “welcome” banners, customized with name of meeting, on light poles along major streets downtown. These are displayed for a two week period encompassing the dates of the meeting.

PECO Crown Lights: Phila.’s skyline PECO Energy building features a brilliant light box that can be seen throughout the city and from major highways after dark. Your group’s lighted welcome message can be arranged for three days.

Restaurant/Information Booth: The PCVB will staff an on-site booth located at the convention center during your show hours. Visitor Services representatives can provide city information, brochures and sample menus, as well as make restaurant reservations.
