Montgomery Named Chairman of PSC

The Philadelphia Sports Congress (PSC), a division of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PCVB), announced today that David Montgomery, Phillies general partner, president and chief executive officer, is succeeding Robert P. Levy as chairman of the Sports Congress as of October 1. Admiral Tom Lynch, co-chairman of the Philadelphia Army/Navy Host Committee, was named vice chairman.

Honorary Co-Chairs of World Cup Bid Named

Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter was joined by Philadelphia Eagles President Joe Banner, Philadelphia Sports Congress Chairman David Montgomery, and Philadelphia Union CEO and Operating Partner Nick Sakiewicz, to announce that Mayor Nutter, along with Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell, will serve as Honorary Co-chairs for Philadelphia’s World Cup Soccer bid for 2018 or 2022.
