NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships Set New Record

The NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships set a new championships attendance record Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia totaling 104,260 fans over the six-session event. The total shatters the previous record of 97,334 set in 2009 in St. Louis.

In addition, the session 6 total of 17,687 is the second-highest attended session in the history of the championships. The record of 17,780 was set in 2007 at Auburn Hills, Michigan.
